AEP seeks proposals for the following coal type, delivery years and tonnages:

  • Central Appalachian/Colorado type; 200 000 t in 3Q10 - 4Q19; 2 million t in 2020; 1 million t in 2021.
  • Powder River Basin type; 3 million t in 3Q10 - 4Q19; 2 million t in 2020.
  • Illinois Basin type; 150 000 t in 3Q10 - 4Q19; 100 000 t in 2020 (1Q20 only).
  • Northern Appalachian Basin type; 200 000 t in 3Q10 - 4Q19; 1.5 million t in 2020; 1 million t in 2021.

All coal proposal packages should include the provided coal proposal form. This information must be received no later than 5 p.m., Monday 18 March 2019. Proposals must remain open for acceptance until 5 p.m., Friday 22 March 2019.
