The final stage is completion of the main ESIA report, which will include extensive data and consultation with the local community and stakeholders. This comprehensive report will then be submitted to the NEMC for review and approval. Subsequently, management believe that the ESIA process will then be complete subject to any specific recommendations or instructions.
It is planned the final stage of the ESIA is completed in parallel with the bankable feasibility study (BFS) for the power plant. An integrated approach will ensure all necessary technical, environmental and social considerations are taken into account when completing these specific areas.
